Maker, cynic, at the command of two dachshunds, all things outdoors
Leavitt’s answers to reporters’ questions remind me of the electronic toy my grandson has that gives a short, random statement when you press a little button.

MTG was left behind, thwarting that quest for power and attention. Lucky for her, the media stepped right in to gather some sound bites and just like that (insert sound of rocket at launch) we are all hearing what MTG has to say again.

I truly wonder how Joe Biden is coping with (waving hands around) all this.

Here’s an idea…

Maybe, since Musk is passionate about reducing the US deficit, and since he is worth more billions than any of us can truly comprehend, he could pump the 38 billion back into the budget that he has received over the last 20 years from the govt in various forms for his businesses.

Can’t wait to hear all about Trudeau’s next visit to MarALago.

Anyone else been hoping Joe Biden would do the deed? What a huge relief.

New theory… this is a test. Gaetz has plenty of enemies in Congress. But who has the spine to deny Trump his pick? A loyalty test.

The AG was going to be a figurehead anyway. His appointment, however, is most likely salt in the wounds of all the Republicans who privately wished Trump would just go away but were too spineless to take a stand.

No matter what you think of Nikki Haley, we may one day look back and say she saved democracy by giving tens of thousands of republicans permission to vote against Donald Trump.

If you haven’t seen the Tiny Desk Concert of Taylor Swift—give it a listen. www.npr.org/2019/10/16/7...

It might give you a different view of things among all the chaos swirling around at the moment.

At this point Taylor Swift doesn’t need to make a political statement because the media has already done it for her.
