I just finished "What the bears know" by Steve Searles and Chris Erskine. Searles was hired by the city of Mammoth Lakes in the 1990's to manage the local bear population that was living in the area. I really enjoyed the book.

Hope it continues to go well. The plastic shield over the eyes at night, first one then the other a week later will be gone before you know it. And the eye drops should be a piece of cake!

I read an article a couple of years ago about Zinke's wife, and that she said she was a registered voter in California. When I look at US house disbursement reports, Zinke spends a LOT of time in hotels around MT when the house isn't in session. Almost like he doesn't have a permanent MT residence.

As long as it benefits them. If it wasn't someone in their cult, they'd be screaming so loud that we'd need hearing protection.

It's an interesting possibility. Seems like Flint worked for Zinke at some point in the past. He could also stay in Billings and run for the MT-01 spot since the constitution doesn't require a US representative to live in their district, only in the state. Downing doesn't live in his district.

I finally got thru to his office on the phone this morning after trying for an hour. Told the staffer that Greg could pay for SNAP benefits out of the $86+ million dollars in interest that the State of MT has accrued from the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act. Greg has sole control over that money.
