And even though she could’ve well chosen to not associate with tomori because she was quirky she was so nice to her and ouughhhu ouuauuuuuu…… even when tomori consistently stole the spotlight from her in conversation, she never considered cutting tomori off but instead working to better HERSELF

SHE DESERVES THE CREDIT!!!!!!! Even when she didn’t like taki in the beginning and felt threatened by Rana’s existence, she worked to earn her worth and place in the band………………….

despite her sore lack of empathy and deep insecurities she never resorts to lashing out at others as her first resort. Even when taki was hounding on her for her lack of practice (a sensitive spot for her) she made the most TIMID request for taki to not yell at her. Which takes a lot tbh

You got to see their PERSONALITY past little snippets of convo that last for ~10 lines. The voice dramas are the most we get, and those don’t showcase chara dynamics aside from Es at all

and clearly taking 3 years to feel bad about pushing a girl to suicide vs taking 1 day would change how people see you. Idk (scratches head) it’s why the novel and manga were so much more effective for gaining sympathy for the charas

The extra content you really have to read inbetween the lines. Even for people who aren’t.. like. dumb. we aren’t given senses of time or space for development. Fuuta’s guilty mindset could’ve developed over the time period of anywhere from 1 month to over 3 years

Also milgram’s format as a whole is a little flawed. The characters don’t get chances to really develop apart from inbetween trials, where their character makes a huge leap in mindset and behavior. It comes off as jarring and causes the fandom to develop extreme, black and white opinions
