I had it on the C64 and, weirdly, I rather liked it. But then I really dug ET on the Atari 2600 so maybe I'm not the best judge.

to live in a world where the Butterfly Baby ending was a financially viable way to conclude a horror movie, and where people would embrace it as strange and mournful and hopeful. I like weird bits in movies. I like the Butterfly Baby. (3/3)

As a teenager, I was vaguely interested in it (having seen photos in CINEFEX long before DVDs/YouTube on which to watch deleted scenes) but didn't think much about it. This morning I woke up struck by what an incredibly sad and beautiful note it would have been to end the movie on. I'd like (2/3)
