I've been watching the news about the crash between the airline jet and army helicopter. What a tragedy. A lot of the passengers were Olympic level skaters, coaches, families.......I think Olympic skating will be a much more somber event next time.

We don't eat much sugar here. Over the holidays, Lorena and I made cookies, candy and cupcakes for Christmas gifts..... and of course we ate some (way too much). Its amazing how sluggish you feel when you eat too much sugar. I think I could nap 4 hours a day.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so I've been baking a bit. It's so dang hot here in Panama that I've really cut down on my baking, but for the holiday, I'll make an exception. Peach tarts with crumb topping........mmmmmmm

Well, I've finally bit the bullet and joined BlueSky. Lets hope this old brain can figure out this new communication tool. We took our little street dog Mokey in to get fixed today. Hallucinating big time for now. Poor babe.
