I love these guys. We live by the South Saskatchewan River. I saw one standing by a road. Thought from a distance he was a hitchhiker

We have those here. Batoche riverbank. About an hour north of Saskatoon. They are just amazing

I live in northern Saskatchewan. Red tailed hawks breed here and they are my favourite bird. But the cries of the young ones just learning to feed themselves are just pitiful
