Remember, this is not just about sticking it to Trump or seeing how Republicans voted. This about real people. I was in a meeting with Rep Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) today and she said the survivors told her “we are the Epstein Files and we want to be released.” THAT’S what this is about.

Will, that's a mirror.

There is no context in which the blanket statement you made is rendered true. There is no context in which the inappropriate lashing out in my replies would be made appropriate.

You just gave a bad take in public, it happens.

Wait no this is wild because you specifically said "there's no nuance" to this topic, don't try to change your argument now and gaslight me that the misunderstanding is mine.

Yes? You're in the replies of my post. Who the fuck else lmao.

You definitely did write a bunch of follow-ups, but they definitely did not convey what you seem to think they did.

But I'll take a participation trophy if acting inappropriately in my replies isn't fun for you anymore.

Anyway, you came to my quote on my page. I'm talking about white supremacy. I shared a thing that I found interesting to my followers, with my own thoughts/caveats appended. I wasn't even disagreeing with you, literally my first comment was "Agree on principle" lmao

I mean, nobody but you can speak to intent. But speaking to impact, you made a statement, without qualification, that if a woman blocks you, it's because you made her feel unsafe. If you wanted to make other statements, you certainly could have!

Stitching girl power on the Klan costume just doesn't move me. My feminism says that if they want the power and the agency to get equal rights and pay for themselves? They deserve equal consequences for the terrible things they do or enable.

And I find it maddening that we continue to do this for racists that are cheerfully enabling a fascist regime because they are women. It's as obnoxious as "Free Melania" and "Support Megyn Kelly" and "We have space for MTG". They have made the choice to cozy up to white supremacy and deserve hell

Great, so I was taking the blanket statement you made (blocking is an inherently benign and protective act) and responding to that. It was a pretty self-complete thought and statement.

Good call. Let's normalize the worst instincts in our population just because a lot of people hold the bad belief.

That's fine. Morality isn't a popularity contest. Militarized borders and restrictions on freedom of movement are the immoral instruments of ethnonationalist regimes. I don't really know what else to say.
