The person should have done more serious thinking months ago, and now it's too late.

Glad the guy is out, but this smells sketchy. If the Mississippi Court of Appeals had already found his sentence illegal, why was he not simply released? Why would it take a Governor's EO to comply with an existing court judgement?

Zinke & his ilk treat Washington the same way they treat MLK, God (who they very clearly believe is fictional), and other important figures who they know are dead & therefore can't clap back: They lie about what they said & did- and what they would likely say or do today- to fit their purposes.

What blatant disrespect to George Washington, who (a) never would've given such an order and (b) actually led an army in a real, life-or-death war.
