You’re right I suppose but I suspect terrorizing the observers, coercing them with the legal hassle, providing the rubes with TV footage of arrests are the goals irrespective of conviction. Need to somehow make this consequential for ICE and prosecutors.

Not good enough. Need judicial warrants, stop using facial recognition to terrorize observers, do not detain citizens, don’t take people into custody at routine immigration meetings, border patrol stays at the border. Dig in it this.

In spite of the tirade and apparent escalation, the leak will prove helpful to Harvard. As Trump faces more pushback—ICE, Greenland, EU-India—he is increasingly forced to declare victory and relent. Resistance, although costly, still the best strategy. Capitulation just brings new demands.
