Presumably someone hit a jelly demon with it repeatedly until that job was done.

Taurine is good for you, mixing it with caffeine is not.

I would be surprised if many of the latest generation of atheist creators take that path.

Parts of Holland is rather outdated for a joke as that was abolished over 50 years ago. I was noting the need to update your joke to either a current District of Lincolnshire or a village.

That would be friends.

Many of those are people writing in different languages, unaware of Elon's evils and having fun discussing how to grow paeonies or cook halva or depose their dictators.

I am disappointed that the Nor Folk are not more insistent on being in t'North.

South Holland is a current District of Lincolnshire. New Holland is a little further north but still mid, I think.

You have to admit that staying in the USA at the moment is a foolishly risky thing to do. Or even staying in any country (or autonomous territory) in the same hemisphere as the USA. One has to admire the bravery of those protesters and observers.

I must circulate this pun.

I worked with a woman taught in a school run by Nuns who was horrified when I happened to refer to Jesus being Jewish. She was genuinely upset & confused. Something her education had somehow omitted. I am pretty sure there are few sermons given on the subject of historicity of the saints or gospels.

"The Roman Empire is now ½ km²" is too funny to reject. As funny as Vatican meaning "pertaining to Roman pagan seers or soothsayers".

They don't exactly deny it:

The Roman Empire and the Vatican
The Vatican(Vaticano), or the Holy See, is the seat of authority of the Roman Catholic Church. But what exactly is the connection between the Roman Empire and the Vatican or the Roman Catholic Church ...

Does anyone seriously think that Christianity would have survived except as a minority sect in some tiny countries without Constantine the Great?

There were thriving cities along the Amazon river that disappeared because of those diseases before any European reached them.

Yet there was an Nahuatl word "aztecah" that signified "people from Aztlan", the legendary homeland of the Nahuatl-speaking peoples who included the Mexica.

I am very sad that historians don't agree (or even know about) my crank theory that the Arthur legends were a distorted retelling of the story of Caratacus of the Catuvellauni - based originally in Camelotunum, son of a "King of the Britons" and battler against invasion for 8 years.
King Caradoc, inspiration for the mythical King Arthur?
An outline of the reasons to believe that the memory of Caractacus, King of the Britons, was a nucleus for the later myths of King Arthur.

I don't understand. Which of the dozens of meanings of fair do you think it only means? Blonde, pale-skinned, gorgeous, helpful, eloquent, noble, favourable, not rainy, pure, perfect, easily legible, just, etc.
