The Russians have always been prepared for the long game.Putin has been cultivating this like an expert gardener since the fall of the Soviet Union and the break up of the Warsaw pact. In Trump he found the perfect fertiliser to accelerate the growth.If not him, he would have found someone else.

Disgusting on many levels. Denying a child their identity, denying a leader the opportunity to volunteer in a time when volunteers are hard to come by BUT they are also questioning the organisation’s ability to vet their volunteers.May they fail in their unbounded bigotry.

As a parent of a 2nd year foundation doctor, your acknowledgement of Megan’s and Niamh’s situation is very welcome.I have been most disappointed by Polly Toynbee’s views on the strikes concentrating on pay alone. “Walk a mile in my shoes” would be a good mantra for commentators perhaps?

I’m afraid we’re also close to the actual text here in the UK. Many people would gladly tune in to see the sinking of boats in the channel. Not a “Jewess” but a Muslim mother. So sad.

I’d like to think that the Labour voting residents affected would be on the altruistic side of the spectrum. “We’ve can afford it, why shouldn’t we pay?” as opposed to the others - “We can afford it, why should we pay?” 🤷♂️

Whenever Johnson(never Boris) is mentioned, commentators should include, “…whose negligent inaction as Prime Minister led to tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths”. The perpetrators of these crimes, yes crimes, knew the news cycle would allow them get away with it. So angry 😡

Thank you. I knew the connections but couldn’t find the words. Add to that the fact that lockdown 1 was delayed to accommodate, among other things the Cheltenham festival and it makes it even worse.

They had the goodwill of people like me who accepted, albeit grudgingly their “never rejoin the EU” stance.They probably thought, “well if they can stomach that they’ll let us do anything.” I may be wrong but praise from Yaxley Lennon, Tice and Badenoch speaks volumes. Shame on Starmer / Labour!

Increase income tax across the board
Increase CGT in line with income tax(Spread the load)
Create safe asylum routes
Tighter EU alignment
All they appear to have done that isn’t as crass as the Tories, is to not be as corrupt but I reckon it’s only because they’re too stupid to be able to do that.

They are now unable to redeem themselves from any of the terrible decisions they’ve already made. Cruelty has been added to incompetence shown over the last 16 months. Policies like these, below would have meant they could sit back and watch the Tories and Reform out-fash each other to extinction.
