Sagittarius, born in the year of the water rat. Size 44 shoe, not as tall as I claim. Thinning on top, widening round the middle. I try not to be a dick and often fail. What else do you need to know?
I hated Depeche Mode until this record, this is the one that made me do a 180°. Fabulous band. Can’t understand what I was thinking before.

I wouldn’t be surprised if most people who own the book stick to this one recipe, it is as good as you say.

If you have that book, I’m curious to know if you’ve made any of the more interesting-sounding recipes and how did it go?

I doubt I will ever make watermelon curry, but I’d love to know if anyone else has..

What, not even “are you okay”?

That’s me!

I mean, other than being married to you. I’m not claiming that. The rest is me though. 364 days and everything.

Sure.

But for the love of god, don’t *eat* it.

Hats off you you for not quoting “digital mediums (sic)”.

I would have imagined that if it were launched with a flat spin, a croque could travel a decent distance. I wouldn’t top it with a fried egg in this scenario.

I have a 20-year old vehicle. It lets me adjust my beam dip angle. I can blind oncoming drivers on undulating roads with standard bulbs just by raising the beam. I imagine this is partly the cause of much of the problem. Adding more powerful lamps would only make it worse.

One of the best gigs I ever went to was a megadog where the Grid were on the bill. Really enjoyed their set. Sad news.

IoM is not part of the U.K.

I cannot take a view on the bill, but there is no reason for IOM legislature to follow any of the UK’s legislatures. I imagine there is a different approach in the Welsh, Scottish, NI and Westminster on this matter anyway.

And here’s the very board.

Small airport is closer. Small island, so it’s probably a passenger transport hub. That limits it to two locations - Ronaldsway airport, and the Sea Terminal. But they’re advertising, so we’re looking for somewhere with the possibility of passing trade, and airports tend to be remote from that.

Bingo. It’s a newspaper sign, so it’s probably outside a newsagent or convenience store. But it’s indoors because the floor is carpet. Where do you find those kind of shops as interior units in larger buildings?

- you may not be as in to this game as I am. No offence taken if you don’t reply 👍

The big writing is a great clue but the small writing is better. That gives you the rough location.
September 26, 2025 at 8:38 AM
I live near this so I’m not guessing. You can geoguess this if you try. First clue - the marking on the sign frame.
September 26, 2025 at 8:36 AM
I know exactly where this sign is located!

I watched them all at the time. I can’t watch Carlyle or Chris Ecclestone without trepidation- both such intense performances, still remember how my insides lurched watching those programmes.
September 14, 2025 at 9:40 AM
That was one of my favourite gigs ever.

I should have answered directly- that job would be minimum wage. Somewhere between £9 and £12 ph gross.

I should be clear, I’m not disputing the analysis, I want to understand it. It doesn’t stack up with my world view - either my view is wrong, or the analysis is. But which?
