Protect Oak Flat

This land is your land, this land is my land
We build our homeland, on stollen land

Unless you’re Indigenous
--> you’re from another LAND
Shame and Guilt do nothing
--> take action that is PLANNED
Protect OAK FLAT
--> before it's only dirt and SAND

MN is proud to help feed the world (in fact, this program was created by Hubert Humphrey). Now not only is that in jeopardy, but millions of dollars in income for farmers is too? Disgusting.

This food, which we’ve already paid for, is waiting on ships to be delivered to those who need it.
Shuttering of USAID could mean the end of millions in income for Midwest farm operations
Frozen by Elon Musk’s DOGE personnel, the USAID program purchased $70 million in commodities in 2024 from Minnesota vendors.

So far, my quote for 2025 is...
Sometimes good things happen for bad reasons.
In my 2025 personal life a few bad things have happened, but some resulted in something unexpected and better than the original.
I might be seeking this out as a coping mechanism, but it feels nice to have some optimism.
