Trump *tried* to make it illegal using unconstitutional executive impoundments. If he actually wants to ban trans folks in sports, he should have Congress pass a law to that end. He has a republican congress... what's stopping him?

I think concern developers building luxury housing is a red herring. New housing, like new cars, is always going to be more expensive. More housing reduces the number of people bidding for the same units, lowering rents in the long run, as well as making older units even cheaper.
