It's (relatively) harmless when you turn a chat bot into a white supremacist, but imagine if you can turn an autonomous code writer whose senior oversight devs were just fired into a vulnerability generating machine.

Basically, since all AI is algorithmic data analysis over a large set, that data is a vector for influence and penetration. If you can manage to poison a well that AI ingests, you can influence that AI.
