This Sandhill Crane with its vivid red patch across the forehead stood out strongly against both its pale cheeks and the surrounding darkness in the early morning light, while its long straight, dark bill extends cleanly from the face.

Like this shot MP with the venerable D3X. The background makes me think of a flight over the Pacific getting ready to do a run on a Japanese carrier. Nice!

Did not really have a lot of nice scenery to put with our Midwest super moon, but I thought the highlighted and backlit trees were nice. Didn't travel far, this was shot in my driveway.

Oh no MP. I can hear the digits frantically typing the @BedfordsCamera number right now after hearing the "snap". On a a side note, how ya liking the battery grip? Is on the Xmas wish list :)

Ahh the romance, drama and wonder of the clouds. I have had similar experiences MP as I point my camera heavenwards and people stop and ask what I am looking at or shooting only to walk away wondering about my fascination with clouds. I feel ya!
