Pastrnak, Kucherov, Barkov, and Draisaitl didn't exactly fill scoresheets regularly in their first 100-150 games in the NHL

I don't think his appearance there is an indication one way or the other. It's basically a glorified photoshoot. However, I would guess he'll at least start the season in the NHL, and the team will reassess after nine games

Those guys are extremely hard to get and are rarely available. You gotta either draft them or part with a ton of assets when they finally are available. The hope is they already have at least one
