He/him.
The easiest way to tell how useless the chatbots are at helping is to ask them about something you actually know about lot about, and see how wrong it is. I think the problem is with people (esp. managers) who don’t know a lot about anything, so can’t see how useless these things are.

Now I have to spend longer trying to understand coworkers’ emails that have been fluffed up with useless extra words. Now I have to double-check all of my coworkers’ work because I have no idea who just trusted a chatbot for an answer.

I don’t have a WSJ account to read the whole thing, but from that infographic it looks like they don’t even ask how many people thinks it has saved negative hours?

I think this is just re-wording what you’re already saying into a simplified hypothetical, but I’m hoping it helps illustrate why this works.

If we took all of the solar panels we have and put *all* of their energy into manufacturing/recycling more panels, we would over time have more energy than we use. That could then be used to make batteries. (Note: this is of course hypothetical)

Do the same with fossil fuels and you run out of fuel
January 20, 2026 at 5:03 PM
And, that they take energy and time to recycle is moot because they gather energy over time.

As long as they produce more energy then they consume through recycling and take less time to recycle than they are used for, there is exponential growth potential.

Fuck that. This is not some theoretical situation: Europe and Canada are stationing troops to kill invading American soldiers. They’re doing that now, because there’s a credible threat of invasion.

That’s not “let’s consider ways we could theoretically change our constitutions” time.
January 15, 2026 at 2:58 AM
NATO countries are moving troops into place to fight an invasion by American forces.

This utter insanity. How has he not been removed from office yet?

It’s showing up on Nebula now
January 13, 2026 at 3:59 AM
I like the idea of shorter, more frequent videos. I’m relatively new to your videos but I’ve loved them all.
January 13, 2026 at 2:53 AM
I feel like “Ancillily” is a potential channel name too.

I’m not sure if there’s just a delay or something but it hasn’t shown up on Nebula for me.

Also, the article says 14 police died due to illnesses related to 9/11 response (the report doesn’t say that though), and New York State had 13 duty-related deaths per the report.

I’m not saying that 9/11 illness isn’t “duty-related”, but it’s also not exactly “fear for your life at a traffic stop”
January 8, 2026 at 3:27 PM
21 of those police fatalities were due to car crashes too so that stat double-counts in a way.

There’s 8 billion people in the world that I will never get to have a conversation with. One more isn’t going to change anything.
January 7, 2026 at 10:20 PM
You shouldn’t have to if other people are at all thoughtful, but also you can turn off auto-play under Settings->Content and Media

Nellie’s is a Canadian brand so I tried their powder out after seeing your videos, and it is nearly worthless. We had films of gunk all over our dishes.

So I’m interested to hear your tests because maybe my dishwasher just doesn’t like it.
January 6, 2026 at 6:35 PM
And that’s exactly why the war mongers are so anti-renewables.

They want to kill people that don’t look like them and oil is a convenient excuse, even when it’s not an excuse they can use publicly.
January 3, 2026 at 5:42 PM
Man I just assumed this would get the traditional “Install a puppet government and let them charge the ex-leader for crimes in their own country” but nope, they’re actually going to try and fail at this in the U.S.

Here’s a pair of mallards that made a nest together near us a few years ago. 🌈

I heard he’s a giant chicken!
December 22, 2025 at 1:46 PM
Yeah, we all know what they’re *trying* to ask. That’s what’s unhinged.
December 18, 2025 at 3:52 PM
No, the first question just sounds like a binary. It If I ask “Would you like soup or a sandwich”, your first answer is *never* going to be “yes” or “no”, even though technically it could be a “yes” or “no” question.
December 18, 2025 at 3:33 PM
Lots of responders don’t seem to get that even if there is only one clear interpretation, there’s also an *unclear* interpretation, which makes it an “unhinged question format”.
December 18, 2025 at 3:14 PM
Oh, it matters to people. They *like* it. This is an echo chamber. Go to rural Texas or Kansas or, hell, rural Illinois and you will hear people talking exactly like him, talking about how much they like him.

He’s completely mad and that’s *why* he was elected to office.

Speaking of Christmas pitches… it would be great if there was a Nebula “fireplace” video. After I cancelled my Netflix subscription there’s just no good ad-free options.
