Just some guy in #Bellingham #Washington, sharing a bit of my personal perspectives, along with art, music, culture, politics, economics… shouting into the void and echoing the sound.

It's #Pride month... As corporate performance fades into the background, something far more powerful, far more veritable arises. A fierce reawakening; justified fury, standing united against hatred and bigotry, reclaiming self-determination through solidarity and uncompromising strength.

The #UnitedStates spends more on healthcare than any other wealthy nation, remains a major contributor to global pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, is destabilizing the world economy, and edging closer and closer toward a authoritarian government with growing disregard for the constitution.

I remember being in cub scouts, singing “I’m proud to be an American,” and always had a strong sense of patriotism. But these days, more and more, I feel ashamed. How much longer will we be descending into global villainy before “We the People” stand up and do the right thing?
Is it too late?

The #USA voted against a #UN #DayOfHope resolution which recognizes "the need for a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that promotes sustainable development, poverty eradication, happiness and hope for all peoples” because of the words “inclusive” and “equitable.”

I watch the stock/bond/commodities markets far too much for someone that doesn’t have any investments/assets whatsoever. 10% drop or rally, multiplied by zero is still zero… for me it’s like watching the weather radar perhaps. It mostly doesn’t affect me, but maybe I can warn people I care about.

I would argue that #consciousness is less an amalgamation of information and its interrelations, and more of an adaptation that reflects one’s self within an environment and complex structures. I do not believe that #AI will ever truly be conscious… it lacks intuition and creativity, only reflection

U.S. #stocks have significantly underperformed in 2025, with the S&P 500 declining more than 6% year-to-date. In contrast, European markets are leading globally, with Poland’s main ETF surging 30% (in EUR). Greece and Spain have also shown strong performance, ranking among the top markets this year.
