Yes! Such letters are merely gatekeeping tools and promote the currently entrenched system--it's not just the writing skill of the recommender that counts, but their level of status within the system.

Really feeling this one. For some reason Gmail just added an AI button and I hate it. And Excel seems to think I asked for an AI button, for no good reason.

Tracy showed me the ability to delay checkout (drop down one on the list) and I feel so much less pressure now. (But now fear I will get out of control with requests)
