You’re close. I’m basically expecting AI to weave its way into the lives of my children but given what we don’t know about it and it’s many dangerous problems there is no reason to just hand your child over to it bc it does something cute

I get what you’re saying, but the realist in me understands this is likely going to be impossible to ignore in some way. What is key is responsible use and rn letting a young kid use one is deeply irresponsible

I’m very pro technology-as-tool and have allowed my kids to use screens most of their lives but very little about current AI tools feel remotely safe enough to put in the hands of children. And that’s without getting into how removing critical thinking processes could impact young brains.
