Sena did finally get to go home. His family buried him in the Camposanto del Santo Niño Cemetery near his old home. The sacred place suffered damage in the fire and ensuing floods.

“It’s burnt. It’s all burnt," his wife said. "But he’s there. We took him back to Rociada."

This week @sourcenm.com we have a story about Donato Sena, one of those six people. He lost his home in Rociada last spring and soon after was diagnosed with cancer for the fourth time.

But he beat it. And then he turned all his attention to rebuilding his home of 30 years.
