I understand it's permitted for emergency vehicles to use a bike (or bus) lane if they are responding to an emergency. In that case I'd expect them to use lights / siren. @cyclingactionnz.bsky.social

Agree. There was no effort to report alternative views on the costs and "benefits" of $$$ highways. Stuff and TVNZ just repeated Govt spin. Lazy and incompetent.
