imo the object of democratic socialism should be to set people free to live their lives with dignity and in that vein both the renters rights act becoming law and the announcement that the morning after pill will be free at pharmacies are unambiguously good things that will transform lives

Would always have said £10m until literally last month because I just wouldn't see the point in any greater level of unearned personal wealth but given the era we live in I'd probably take the billion and do something genuinely meaningful with it (less the £350k required to buy the rest of my flat)
