Careless and incompetent. That’s what happened in Flint. People went to jail over that. Then there are the inevitable lawsuits. There will be consequences.
These jokers treat environmental protection like it’s all “boo hoo, spotted owls” when it’s more about not making ourselves extinct. Grr.

Environmental impact studies. They should have known that the process would result in unacceptable nitrate levels in the water table, and that the data center would worsen the problem, and they should have been monitoring that. Nickel says they took shortcuts during planning or ignored the studies.
