At this stage, any Irish citizen, group or party which is supporting or cheerleading for Trump and his régime, or trying to replicate it here, is acting in a way that hostile to Ireland and should not be voted for.

There’s an easy solution to that. More remote working. Work from home. It improves productivity as well as reducing operating costs.

As a distant cousin of Sr Maura Clarke, I hope that the USA will be diligent in finally acting to bring her murderers to justice and perhaps they should deploy their new ICE storm troopers to arrest the immigrant far right generals who were behind this.

Delighted. We can only have one president, not the whole shop. Makes sense to get behind a strong candidate with multi party and independent backing. I am an independent but pro reunification.

Time to ban dogs from the swimming reserve areas of strands like Portmarnock all year round. The dogs can be exercised on the other 3km. We swimmers only want one clean reserve, 600m at north end, 400 m in middle. @fingal.ie
