Chill new years evening, Friendo put on a bbq, shared some refreshments, relived some war stories of irresponsible times gone by, crashed about 3, woke at 6, not much happening so slept in till 10. surprisingly quiet drive home, roasted pork belly dinner and still have like 3hrs before bed.

Lightly peckish but not outright hungry all day, jam a microwave chicken burg down my maw because some semblance of nutrients. And now I'm hungry. Thinking the smell is what perked up my appetite, classic issue of food = good, making = chore.

Week off for Christmas break feels like how I'll spend retirement, just chilling about, calm but in a little way, bored. Like 'yay you have the whole day ahead of you' cool. Now what? This lack of ambition thing is such a cop out.

Surprised I can fit my two ozito drivers, their batteries, charger, AC adapter, basic drill set and a brush in the og basic drill box. Pocket case holds the impact bits, contained within a small carry toolbag. My boot/trunk is my shed/workshop #mrfixit #jackofall

Knock off work last night, casually play some satisfactory for a couple of hours, hit the sack annnnd woke up pretty late. Busy patch at work taking a bit of a toll. Fairly peckish too but not enough time for grocery shop / cooking so I'll be grabbing something on the way in.

Mildly miffed about licensing fees. between a years worth of car registration and drivers license renewal, that'll be oh about AUD$950 please. not even mentioning the due front tyre replacement. T.T

If I toss the 'wired because blork charging things' requirement, my second factor is larger cups, I have bigger ears, sit them over, not on. In ear doesn't work because canals are odd sized, haven't quite experienced buds that sit in nicely.

Looking for 3.5mm jack, mic will be unused, (desktop mic at home, lean over shoulder at a lan. ) leaning towards warmer sound, bass bias is okay, volume is a factor, quiet clarity is lost on my ears, gimme loud, but not tinny ear split. And none of this virtual soundscape bs, too echoey to my ear

Picking out headphones for PC is a pain, because my requirements are odd enough alone, and the set that I've used and abused is no longer on market. Everything else seems to just miss the mark here or there.

I'd say there's some trepidation on the idea of me being a manager, but I basically do it whenever my direct manager is not around, being their right hand, as it were.

Not in stone yet, but branch boss wants to formally pin me as evening shift supervisor, given I basically do that role already (putting me the nocturnal equivalent of my direct manager) responsibility? Largely unchanged, pay bracket bump for position too, which would be nice to have.

Forklift technicians got lucky, they had to do a two day fix out in the open and the rain has held off. Hopefully they can nip the issues in the bud this time.

Teaspoon of msg into half kilo pork mince while browning it off, hrm, there is an appreciable difference. Let's see how it goes after I finish simmering the spice mix and putting the wraps together.
