Make no mistake – Abbott and Paxton’s culture war against Transgender Texans is meant to distract us from their war on public education which will hurt all 5,531,236 school-aged kids in Texas.

It was also great to join the TDP team at the Trailblazers Block Party in Austin to thank sustaining members for giving our party the resources it needs to operate year-round.

From his days in the legislature to his time as mayor, he gave this state a lifetime of service.
Today, we mourn the loss of this titan, but tomorrow and every day after, we'll honor his legacy by carrying on his fighter spirit.
