4th generation Texan and lifelong #txdem.
As we head into the final stretch, I wanted to take a moment to proudly share our full endorsement list, a powerful coalition of leaders and grassroots Democrats from across Texas who believe in our vision for a stronger, more united, and more strategic party. #txdems

Their endorsement isn’t just a vote of confidence in me, it’s also a call to action because they know what’s possible when we listen to our communities, invest in people, and do the unglamorous work of building something that lasts. #TXDems

As TDP Chair, I’ll keep marching in lockstep with the Hispanic community — not just today, but every day. Thank you for a wonderful way to kick off the weekend, San Antonio! #txdems

Greg Abbott and Ken Paxton’s extreme agenda is inhumane. I will stand up every day to call out these distractions for what they are and fight for Transgender Texans. www.texastribune.org/2025/03/14/t...
Paxton says trans Texans can’t use court orders to change sex on driver’s licenses, birth certificates
Per the attorney general’s nonbinding opinion, state agencies should change gender markers on government documents back to a person’s sex assigned at birth.

Make no mistake – Abbott and Paxton’s culture war against Transgender Texans is meant to distract us from their war on public education which will hurt all 5,531,236 school-aged kids in Texas.

It was also great to join the TDP team at the Trailblazers Block Party in Austin to thank sustaining members for giving our party the resources it needs to operate year-round.

They’ve been in the trenches, they’ve fought the fights, and they know exactly what it takes to build a party that wins. Their support speaks volumes because they understand the responsibility, strategy, and leadership we need. #TXDems

Houston and the Turner family are in my heart. Rest in power, Rep. Turner. You did us all proud.

From his days in the legislature to his time as mayor, he gave this state a lifetime of service.

Today, we mourn the loss of this titan, but tomorrow and every day after, we'll honor his legacy by carrying on his fighter spirit.

But most importantly, he gave a damn about Houston, about Texas, and about making people's lives better.

Even just last night, at the Joint Address in D.C., he was still in the fight to defend Medicaid for Texas families because he never stopped believing in the promise of a better tomorrow.

If you ever had the privilege of watching him debate on the Texas House floor, you know: He was a master legislator. He could connect the dots, make the case, and deliver a punchline with a wit that even his opponents couldn't deny.
