Conservatives in power are already moving to hassle educators for teaching “woke” content.
Teachers w/o Walters’ exemption in OK will have to pass an ‘anti-woke’ test developed w/ PragerU. The second SCOTUS rules in Landor’s favor, failing this test will no doubt spell personal financial liability.

In all seriousness, despite a contested legacy on a few key issues, we’ve lost a real and fearless advocate for good. Now it’s time to hope the largest institutional religion continues on a path toward justice, peace, and love, and that the next pope isn’t an ultraconservative (+ unlucky) Pius XIII.
