Former film Boom Operator. Progressive Realist/Social Democrat in politics, now much more radicalized. Witch. Philosopher/Ethicist. Frequent bursts of sarcasm/humor to make a point. Occasional bursts of insight.
Passionate when appropriate.
Parenthetically, I am just as disgusted at the scum that turned out to be spineless bottom dwellers as you are. Some of them make Susan Collins look like a visionary.

Not in the least. But he serves as a poster child of who we need to replace. Mamdani’s election shows it can be done. We need to energize voters, get them angry, not discourage them. There is more power in hope than helplessness.

That may be true for some of them. Our job is to wrest control of the Democratic Party from them, just like the Tea Party did with the Republicans. But tarring them all results in voters we need not showing up.

I’m pretty sure you meant our Republican leaders are failing us. They hold the levers of power and must be removed.

Has anyone filed for a TRO to enforce (I can’t believe I’m saying this) the 4th Amendment?

Stanley Kubrick suspected that if we knew the behaviors of the global elite that we may have trouble sleeping at night.

He mysteriously died shortly after this film was released 😟

After they finish singing the question in the last stanza, I always answer “No”.

Honestly, I think what Putin has on T goes well beyond P tapes.

Really clever. Steinbeck would be proud!

Even if you threw Harlan Ellison into the mix!

And the government media companies dutifully parrot that self-evident bull 💩.

My concern is not so much for the reporter. Regardless of what happens to her legally, the government is now in possession of the names of her informants, which could make them targets. This will have a chilling effect on whether future sources come forward.

I suppose we should support food banks and homeless shelters with larger charitable donations. I’m pretty sure the folks that operate these places don’t do this out of spite or cruelty.
