life as a a full-time artist: social media strategize, pivot constantly, market yourself but don't seem desperate, output a bunch of work and pray people like it, highs and lows and in between, you will never not be thinking about art but only 25% of your time will actually be spent making it.

Last week I was really struggling and felt sad and stuck and asked the universe to help me out somehow. On Sunday, I heard from an old friend that I haven’t seen or talked to in years and years, and tonight we spent two hours catching up on the phone and it’s SO NICE to be connected again. ❤️

A gloomy Monday, but I got a lot done. Laundry, including all the bedding; packed orders from the weekend; printed a bunch of needed restocks including tomatoes, Townes Van Zandt and skeletons; now baking brownies/simmering some tomato soup from scratch.
