ESD Engineer. Triple bottom line economics - environment, social, economy. Don’t like political labels but for those that do I’m left with a touch of practicality. Love the Tigers 🐯, music, movies and surfing
Awesome list. Saw them a few times in Melbs. They are my favourite of the Seattle bands too.
Still miss Chris! His death hit me as hard as any celeb death.
Some songs I’d add in to the mix… Fell On Black Days, Blow Up the Outside World, Birth Ritual, Good Eye Closed, Holy Water, Mind Riot

It’s amazing how one thing usually goes with another. You’re my favourite footy writer and I also put these 3 up there as my favourite political writers. Add in Cathy Wilcox and David Pope as political cartoonists

Have you ever seen people look so proud to be f@cking over future generations

Yes and then they send out social media posts gaslighting the f@ck out of us.
Saw one today from Gorman saying the Greens sided with anti-renewables campaigners such as Barnaby Joyce… All the while making deals with Coalition

Is this not Reagan? And isn’t he saying tariffs on the whole and in the long term are bad?
What am I missing? Seems like the orange goon is just making sh!t up again

I’m hoping we’re moving away in secret. Like I hope UK and Europe are too.
Scomo burnt the France deal and signed us up to AUKUS.
We need something.

I’m pointing out it’s a consistent foreign / defence policy for majority of western countries. No one likes it. No one likes him.

2. Albo has visited China and Labor has mended relations with them after Scomo’s disastrous relations with them. So in that context they are sitting on the fence.
3. Even with Trump, China and US are not equivalents. One still holds free elections the other doesn’t

I share that fear too. But I’d also make the following points.
1. We’re not doing anything UK and Europe aren’t. Because unfortunately ours, UK and Europe’s Defence capability is tied to US technology and intelligence. You can’t just change that course overnight.

Agree. Albo Labor government are perennial fence sitters.
Unfortunately our security is tied to the US. I’d hope Aus, UK, Europe and some others are planning to slowly reduce dependence on US given the Trump fiasco.
So I don’t particularly blame Albo. He’s trying to act in our best interests
