By the way, there is LESS choice with insurance companies compared to being able to go to any hospital in a country with universal healthcare. You don't need to ask, "are they in network?"

Thanks, Laurence. I am glad the pros still outweigh the cons and hope it continues. Not to sound preachy, but no institution is worth long-term mental anguish. You are worthy of so much more. Hang in there!

I know the feeling. I could not take the stress of staying in a collapsing institution. Severence was an opportunity. Think of it this way, why spend most of our lives in one situation, why not learn new things and challenge ourselves? It's frightening, but your amazing, new things will come.
