4/5 On a brighter note, the birds are still singing, it is still lovely to visit with family and friends, to go for walks, to read books, to watch good shows, and to learn new things.

3/5 Here in Spain I am finding relief from some of that. But I will always be deeply saddened to be from a country of Hate.

2/5 Every time I see Trump or any reference to him, I see Hate personified. When I see (a photo of) someone in a MAGA hat, I see Make America Hate Again. So especially when I'm in the U.S. I am seeing so much Hate, so often, and everywhere.

1/5 I've been thinking about why the next 4 years are going to be so oppressive for me. It's because I live in a country where over half of the people are filled with hate.

I feel very assured that we will win. Our ticket is the happy ticket, and by now people are thoroughly hankering for that. It's like doling out anti-depressive meds to the population at large.
