Just upgraded both my desktop and laptop to #Fedora #Linux 42 - and lived to tell the tale! 🐧

Desktop played dead during the shutdown phase, but a power cycle brought it back to life. The laptop? Smooth as butter.

Fedora 41 has <6 months before it's retired.

The latest release of the #Chocolatey Test Environment as a VirtualBox #Vagrant box made me wonder how to use it in #VMware Workstation. This terrible guide that you should not use. Unless you need to. It works. But don't do it.
Using the Chocolatey Test Environment under QEMU
The latest release of the Chocolatey Test Environment as a VirtualBox Vagrant box made me wonder how I could use it in VMware Workstation. So I tried it and produced this terrible guide that you definitely shouldn't use. Unless you need to. It works. But don't do it.

How to get the best experience from Windows guests under Linux KVM

Finally managed to get #TheDivision2 running well under Linux. Using #Fedora 41 and #Lutris. It's as smooth as butter.

My last attempt was 6 months ago under #Debian 12. It was *almost* playable. Not been in game for about a year.

This was the only Windows game I ever had issues with under #Linux.

It's 2025, didn't you know? DHL can't ship anything with lithium batteries to #Scotland.

@thepihut.bsky.social knows. They have learnt a lot since 2012, but not enough to choose a courier that delivers lithium battery products to Scotland.
