Since this administration, with its highly exeperienced legal teams, takes the constitution and rule of law very seriously, I would like to ask the president why he is so upset? It’s not like he would ever order the military do something unlawful is it?

Granted, ”will fall apart” is a hyperbole. Russia obviously has been overrated, as has been shown in Ukraine. It is clear though that Europe has been relying on the US for protection in conflicts. I am not saying Russia today poses a serious threat. In say 20 years it might.

If the US goes full dictatorship NATO will fall apart and Russia gets a green light to, at least, invade former Soviet countries. Europe does not have an army and is far from prepared for war. Ukraine must win this war, there is no alternative.
