Semitic peoples, (Arabs and Jews etc) were originally identified by language type. Over time, the term has changed in its application to various ethnic and cultural groups.
Fun fact: The term “Aryan” arose from the ethno-cultural self-designation of the Indo-Iranians.

Fun Fact: A Gallup survey from 2015 determined that 65% of Israelis say they are either “not religious” or “convinced atheists”. Only 30% say they are “religious”. Of the 30% religious, there are: secular, traditional, orthodox, and ultra-orthodox varieties.

Being opposed to the way Israel’s government is conducting its war is not being anti-Semitic. The Jewish people are ethnic and/or cultural groupings within Israel. There are also Christians, Muslims, Bahai, Druze, Samaritans, atheists, etc.
