I can understand people's reluctance to get involved in countless petitions.
What we MUST do is out do the Tommy ten names mark of a few months back. We have to get well over 100,000 attending otherwise our credibility is shot and they can continue to tell us to 'shut up' with some justification.

These petitions struggle to gain much traction. Don't know why as polling show quite a surge in rejoin or at least CU.

And let's not forget that they and many other Europeans and indeed internationals contributed to sustaining that economy. We f#cked them off and.......well.
We say 'they took our jobs', but the truth is we don't want to break our backs in a field at 4am.
I know these people. They piss me off.

Wasn't far behind you with cancelling my membership too.

If that's the case then it should have been one of the conditions in the LD/Tory coalition back in the day.
Who was it......Cameron/Clegg I think.

PR ? If you are going for that then my vote is yours.
But don't play with me. Don't say sh@t you have no intentions of doing. We as the voting public have had a belly full of that.

Starmer has just slapped David Lammie down over brexit, so what do i know.
I DO know I'm getting very pissed with Starmers direction as a whole. Much longer like this and I'm off to LD or Green.
December 6, 2025 at 2:17 PM
Yes. Starmer has made it clear, even in the manifesto that he would be using the private sector to help cut the waiting lists. Oil obviously doesn't like the green agenda but if they wait it will implode anyway.
Still don't see what Israel gets out of any of this.

Unlike the 2016 ref, which we all know was 'advisory' and VERY tight, he's waiting for a 'super majority' of public opinion to launch. Say, 75% minimum. He and some of his MPs are tentatively starting to talk about it, toe in the water style.

Don't think it's the NHS, it's labours legacy. It is costing ma-hooosive money and that is a problem.
The push for green isn't working, infact it's backfiring with EV sales stalled. They are frankly pants.
Don't know what Israels got to do with brexit or the direction of UK politics.
December 6, 2025 at 9:41 AM
Badger Starmer until he launches one. He can't ignore it for ever and public opinion is in your favour.
Th cracks are starting to show, here and across the pond but we have to bust them open or they'll plaster over them.

I can't see any Independence ref going any other way than out. With the english getting bat sh@t crazier by the second, Labour flopping about like a limp lettuce and Reform stinking the place up, you've GOT to get out.
Just remember the first time round. You were lied to. Don't fall for it again.

I'd love to but the wife, not so much. Not that she doesn't LOVE Scotland, we holiday up there twice a year. It's the grandkids and family that's keeping her down here.

Well, somebody's got to stay and fight 😕. Too old and can't afford to now we've left, was on my to-do list before.
My only hope is Scottish independence and then only if Scotland will accept my ancestral link.
Labour voter all my life (66. Never again. They've blown it.
Greens or Libs for me now.
