And to think, we could have had him as our Pa. senator. Given the current office holder… 🤷🏼‍♀️

When done well, local reporting at a small town paper IS democracy. We don’t have to label it as such, it becomes part of the fabric of the town. Giving the reader the information allows them to participate in … democracy.

Well, for what it’s worth, I contacted Fetterman’s office. Again. Pa’ians…. we’re so disappointed.

Next time you happen on a Mac Classic, know that I laid out a newspaper on one of those.

At some point the media has to begin using the correct descriptive words for what is happening in this country.

Write every day… don’t worry about the words. That’s what editing is for. Just get something down “on paper.”

People are simply not paying attention. Rural areas are usually news deserts and the local media that does exist - and can reach these people - is not digging into this stuff, but usually reflecting the views of its red readership. I’m living this reality now.

Where’s he been for the last 10 years? 🙄

I agree it should be permanent. For me, I’ve got 27 months of an increase before I’m eligible for Medicare if it ends in Dec. so a one-year extension would knock that down to 15 months and save me $6000. Selfishly, I’ll take what I can get, but I know the angst losing those subsidies causes.

Are insurance companies still covering the cost?

Next year, I’m facing a 70% increase.

I still haven’t been able to find out that if I can indeed get the shot, will insurance cover it based on PA’s new rules.

I wish there was clarification on what insurance companies are covering… are they basing coverage on the CDC guidelines? Is it up to the individual companies?
