Reuters photographer Jonathan Ernst noticed that Bondi flipped open a file during the Senate hearing and he zoomed in.

Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators.

The GOP now practicing Cliff's Notes Fascism

In other words, under oath Bondi was purely a performance.

This is Adelita Grijalva.

She was elected to Congress two weeks ago, officially making her the final vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files.

She has still not been sworn in because Mike Johnson refuses to do so.

“Why are you saying some federal workers shouldn’t get back pay?”

TRUMP: “You’ll have to figure that out. Ask the Dems.”🤔

@RepDonBeyer: “Federal employees are guaranteed back pay without exception by law” 👇🏽

How about this: We don't pay members of Congress when they cannot keep the government functioning?

Johnson: "It's true that in previous shutdowns, many or most furloughed employees have been paid for the time they were furloughed, but there is new legal analysis - I don't know the details, I just saw a headline - but there are some legal analysts saying that might not be appropriate or necessary"

When I looked up the pattern, I saw that she has a 20% discount through October if you're interested in the pattern. OCT2025. I'm not affiliated nor do I get anything from her sales. Just sharing because I loved the pattern.

For #showmeyourknits this week, this is one of my favorites. These were a test knit that I signed up for on twitter and now have lost the information since I deleted my account.

I love all of these on this w
I absolutely love this. All of it
1. Compliment three people every day.
2. Watch a sunrise at least once a year.
3. Be the first to say, "Hello."
4. Live beneath your means.
5. Treat everyone like you want to be treated.
6. Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen.
7. Forget the Joneses.
8. Never deprive someone of hope. It may be all he has.
9. Pray not for things, but for wisdom and courage.
10. Be tough-minded but tenderhearted.
11. Be kinder than necessary.
12. Don't forget, a person's greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.
13. Keep your promises.
14. Learn to show cheerfulness, even when you don't feel like it.
15. Remember that overnight success usually takes • about 15 years.
16. Leave everything better than you found it.
17. Remember that winners do what losers don't want to do.
18. When you arrive at your job in the morning, let the first thing you say brighten everyone's day.
19. Don't rain on other people's parades.
20. Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them

One of my pet peeves on that road for sure, as well as people who decide to pass 5 cars, but don't have enough time to do it, & can't get back into the line. I'm coming in the opposite direction, have to pull off onto the shoulder to avoid a head on. The entire road should be no passing.

I told Dave you asked if the cyclamen were wild. He said, "I don't think so, they didn't cause any trouble".🤣
paulachernoff11.bsky.social
Not sure - I purchased at the garden center and they were for outdoor planting, not the type we frequently see here in the grocery stores which are houseplants.

I love cyclamen! Planted some years ago and they were not happy campers and didn't make it. Perhaps I'll try again.
How lovely to have so many blooms this time of year. At least we have the mums here to cheer us.

ACLS statement against White House “compact”: THIS IS SOVIET SHIT
Screenshot from statement “Universities and colleges have one mission: to advance knowledge. Faculty carry out the mission by conducting research and teaching students. The knowledge they produce and circulate is independently assessed by professional peers. Interfering with that process by forcing knowledge to pass through a political filter is a tactic adopted by the Soviet Union and other authoritarian states. The White House is dressing up its compact as a reasonable corrective to what it views as problems in campus culture. Let no one be deceived. This proposal imposes government censorship on academia. It is anti-American, and it weakens our democracy by devaluing academic expertise.”
