Dignity & respect…
No one should talk to an autistic adult like they are a child. That's about respect; remember people with developmental disabilities have the lifetime experience of their age. And please try not to call people "buddy" or ask them for a high five unless you already know they are OK with those things.

People in wheelchairs are getting arrested right now in the Russell Senate Office Building in DC. They showed up to tell Congress not to cut their Medicaid, because they cant afford health care without it. If you look closely you can see the zip ties on their hands. #WeWontGetOverLosingMedicaid
