One tech area that needs improvement is to not require a cell phone for things like document uploads. Not everyone has a cell phone - or wants one, yet there are some services that will not work without one. That's not right. Eg. Dual mobile and web-based interaction, equally, please.

Sadly but necessarily, 9/11 taught me to stay completely off ALL television/cable news, which after 6 months was SO enlightening, it helped motivate me to keep my distance from social networks, too.

A great pair of moccasins is one of the most best things!
I've also got some thin, soft leather "slippers" hand made in Turkey that make great house shoes, and can even be worn to bed. And a pair of Tibetan, wool "slippers."
