Yeah I love watching all those episodes of Mecum Auto Auctions where they just hold up a bit of metal with numbers on it while people bid

100%. If you are PIC and hear a guy in an exit row will not comply with crew instructions, you’re landing.

I averaged over 20k miles per year until covid, was far fewer during, and now my steady state is around 10k

Incidentally, in those 10 years I never replaced a brake pad.

Once you get the timing of regenerative braking right, you very rarely need the actual brakes.

I’ve been driving all-electric since 2016. Had Tesla model S twice and currently drive a Lucid Air (swapped it the same week as his salute).

Only ever changed tires and wiper blades in almost 10 years of EV ownership.

The only reason I’m not blocking you it’s because Cuw asked you the logical question of what would you have the man do in this situation that wasn’t his fault, and I want everybody to see how you didn’t answer it.

I’ll explain slowly because you’re a cat: “poor guy” is an idiom, and does not mean he is actually poor in a monetary sense.

It means someone in an unfortunate situation, e.g. having to deal with insufferable bores on the internet.

Aren’t you a cat? Pop in a Blu-ray of birds on the screen and leave this poor guy alone.

Oh, you thought the Guardians were going to lose on AL Central clinch day?

I’ll also say that with the growth and popularity of lacrosse it is moving up the list rapidly. I believe it is number two on the girls concussion per Athletic Exposure list.

I coached girls soccer for over a decade, and I feel I should point out that American football is number one for injuries but specifically girls soccer is number two. Same thing for a concussion rate specifically. Boys soccer doesn’t make the top five.

That’s not news. You can No True Scotsman the distinction away if you like.

I know a little something about security, privacy, as well as the USA PATRIOT Act, as it happens.

I think one of the two companies protect your privacy better than the other. But buy whatever phone you want!

If you’re arguing about emails lists but have never heard of L3Harris, the idiom “false sense of security” applies.

Most people don’t do what we do for living, and I remind myself that we probably agree on a great many things. But a bunch of them are as loud as they are incorrect.

I’ve studied US drone strikes, I wrote a book called “Drones and Terrorism,” and this Caribbean strike is different.

Lethal fire at a non-threatening target in a non-hostile environment on purpose when other means, such as capture, were easily doable, and without even attempting a legal rationale.

Agreed, Tudor. The pitched roof and gables are canonical.

Yes, too bad I don’t understand much about cryptography, currency, and security.

That’s funny, most coiners don’t want the government to have any of those tools to see or interfere in their transactions.

Glad to hear you’re in favor so that the prosecutions can happen appropriately.

The most self-serving nonsense I’ve ever read. Sure, crime is all over and mostly petty and largely cash. Small drug deals are not what we are talking about.

E.g. no company has paid ransomware in cash, which are some of the largest payments on the chain but 0.34% sure SOUNDS low, doesn’t it smh

Jake, are you saying most low rope/pipe crawl courses -don’t- have a nice long and cushy pad to save your hands and knees?

Jokes aside: we know exactly what they had for lunch, because our crack team LEFT ALL THE PLANNING DOCUMENTS BEHIND IN THE LOCAL HOTEL PRINTER.
