It is a dystopian future where global warming starts to cause mass casualty heat waves and oil company execs are assassinated by environmental activists who feel they have no other option.

It made me think of the ‘ministry for the future’.

Maybe it is better they abandon their attempts at neutrality and just get funding from the private sector. There is no longer a reasonable center.
