I paraphrase an old Frum tweet frequently. It was something like "good luck finding someone in 20 years willing to admit they supported this." I'm guessing it was difficult to find a Nazi in the 60s. It's a real source of optimism for me.

Two different things. The entire team doesn't appear to be forgoing a bowl game due to injury concerns. Seems pretty clear the university and AD have no interest, players' opinion be damned. If individual players weighing potential NFL earnings do so, that's their prerogative and understandable.

College football has lost the plot. We've got Notre Dame fans more fired up that they're sticking it to a broadcaster and a bunch of sport jackets by skipping a bowl game, instead of being happy they get to watch the team they supposedly like play again before September. That's stupid!
