I’m talking about the companies and agencies rather than the staff. The staff are often exploited- on zero hours contracts and many have difficult journeys using unreliable public transport to reach their workplace.

The private care homes have played the system and replaced European staff after Brexit with even cheaper staff from elsewhere. It is all about profit for them, not about dignity or care for the residents.

Was good movement too. Took a step forward to move defender then went back and used the little space he created to steer ball in.

A really in-depth and enlightening report. It shows the complexity of PSR and some of the o stacked almost all clubs face (other than Chelsea who seem to be immune from any rules). Well worth a read.

Spellchecker horror - should say understand

Been in dt myself on supply so I understories pain. Had to explicitly remind staff and students that o wasn’t covered for machinery. In the end it’s always the kids who suffer.

First game since before Wembley that we have done that. It’s good to see we can play from the back but also more direct if required. Either way, we can cause teams big problems.

Ant understand why people would want to sell them. Especially given the occasion. Proudly wearing mine today. Might have a frame made up - scarf, ticket, programme and some pics from the game

2/2. I’mnot against getting fans in from abroad but we need to bring our own kids and grandkids through to support and maintain the heritage and atmosphere. This is sadly going to be at all PL clubs in the not so very distant future and is already happening at most with st’s not going back on sale

King Shagger himself.. Barry Venison

It is already happening. Schools get rid of more experienced (and expensive) staff and replace them with newly qualified teachers or those who are getting qualifications whilst doing the job. I haven’t been able to get a full time position in 9 years because of this. It’s the students who suffer.

Both of them sound as if they are seriously depressed

Did you see where Bournemouth were playing b league. Best organised team this season at SJP. Go back to supporting the team in the championship instead of looking for a bite.
January 18, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Agree - better team won. We were outplayed and outclassed. Had a collective shocker. Toni and Hall were out paced and outmuscled. Hopefully we will learn from this. As for the idiot who booed at full time!!

You had lots of kids going to first or second game, people sitting in different places and a flat match which wasn’t exactly conducive to a mega-atmosphere. Also, without sounding conceited it was Bromley, not Barca we were playing.
January 13, 2025 at 3:55 PM
Perhaps Bromley would take him on loan. Needs to play in League 2 against bigger lads so he can develop his strength and learn his trade.
January 13, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Both descriptions are spot on. Play the ball of front of him and he looks decent. Needs to develop hold up play a bit but has all the attributes.

Think Osula benefits from earlier through balls. Their 5-4-1 system closed space for runners through the lines. After the goal you saw him making runs and starting to receive the ball
January 12, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Agree - I think all the managers were deserving but esp howe, Areola and Nuno - a close decision
January 10, 2025 at 1:38 PM
Good post. I hope many Bromley fans make a weekend of it, enjoy the city and atmosphere and then go back happy with the experience but not the result.
January 10, 2025 at 12:26 PM
We could say the same about Nuno getting manager of the month instead of Howe - why not appreciate that they both had a great month. What a cry baby he is
January 10, 2025 at 12:21 PM
Could’ve been Eddie Howe but at least it wasn’t a lazy pick for Slot (not a criticism of him, more the process). Some good performances and results by all nominees - Good to see Bournemouth recognised too.

Are new sponsorship deals not held up as they are scrutinised to ensure they are deemed as the correct value? Another cartel con although Chelsea seem worst affected with no shirt sponsor
