I misread this from glancing too quickly and thought this was about tickets for a rare production of Sandy Wilson's musical VALMOUTH. I thought the sell out in Penzance seemed unlikely.

Bet if they were named and shamed that money would suddenly be forthcoming.

Dr Phibes is not an Abomination!

He's a very naughty boy.

That was my favourite book between the ages of 6-8. Took it out of the library every few months. Bought a copy to relive it when I was 36.

Love that film. Gerald Sim is a particular delight and the main theme is gorgeous.

Opinions? Moi?

Scandal, no question, is the one I wish had happened.

I'm also moderately intrigued by 1916-The Musical. Partly because I have Irish heritage and partly because I suspect it could have been gloriously awful.

I'm replying specifically to James's reference to Johnson kicking out the decent Tories. Cameron, whatever faults he had, didn't do that.

Wonder if Johnson ever looks back and thinks "hmmm, I fucked the party up, there?"

Nah, he has no concept of self-reflection or error.

Funny how just a couple of weeks after Farage posted that, he was having talks with the fraud. Pair of self-serving charlatans.
