And the last of the three cats, is Panda, short for Pandaemonium. She is the cat who got the cream, & the fish supper & her paws in the jam. Panda is the born climber who cannot climb and certainly cannot land. Panda is the one whose mews all mean “Was that really me?” @poorlycatdraw.bsky.social

There is nothing like a foraging day in North Yorkshire - Huttons Ambo, with sloes, haws, elderberries, apples and various other berries.

While eating tonnes of tomatoes a day (efforts to reduce the glut), I thought I might as well paint them too! (St Petersburg watercolours, sepia and while pencils and clear nail varnish).

Ripe plums, fuchsias dropping red tears on parched earth and too many tomatoes to eat even for a tomato fiend like me! Bank holiday weekend!

The summer is now getting old, the Rosebay Willowherb is shedding its downy beard, and the pears are almost ready for picking. That is what I chose to paint today. The orininal from our garden tree, the painting on buff, and digitally darkening the background @awatercolouraday.bsky.social
