The kilograms thing is admittedly a false equivalence, but I use it to demonstrate how “10 items” feels in my head. It may not feel the same in yours, and this is interesting. As I say, it’s arguable, but I’ve picked my side and will stand my ground. 😀

I continue to care about the distinction. I would always choose to say “I have fewer items than you.” But I would equivalently say “I have less shopping than you”. In my head, “10 items” binds to a quantity that dilutes countability, and I instinctively lean towards “less”. But point taken.

I resent how I'm unjustly made to feel the embarrassment that he seems incapable of feeling. And yet he wins elections, so - to quote Mr. Simpson - what are ya gonna do? 🤷‍♂️

Wow, this disc is in my collection. I've just been scanning my shelves for it, which took a while because it's filed in an unusual place due to the irregular packaging size. I haven't played it for years. I'm rarely in the mood to hear the whole work. But I remember it being very good.
