Started a new book: Greek Lessons by Han Kang

I watched 15 films this week. My top 3:
- Pixote (1980): exposes violence as policy, childhood as collateral
- K-pop Demon Hunters (2025): pop aesthetics wrapped around centuries-old folk cosmology
- Magic Farm (2025): a fantasy that almost hides its economic logic

Spent the whole day being insufferable about early Christmas decor and music (especially as I was at this coffee shop playing the same jazzy holiday track on repeat). Then saw a themed dessert, ordered it, and folded immediately. Seasonal hypocrisy?!

Woke up inspired. Modelled my CV on artist Mindy Sui's spreadsheet. An incredible exercise, I was forced to pivot from “what I wish I'd done” to “what I actually did”. The documentation also pushed me to add all the diverse, unrelated things I've done.

At Every Half Roastery, tried their new “Cloud Pandan Oolong”. Coconut foam pretending to be comfort. Not quite what I imagined.
